During these late fall and winter months the California Highway Patrol may require that you carry snow chains or have them fitted to your car tires when driving above snow level. At these times Sequoia National Park also requires them for park entrance.

Please have your tire size ready for the clerk. If you don’t know the tire size then simply take a photo of the tire to show at the counter.
