Sequoia National Park is open after closure due to storm damage along the Generals Highway leading to the Giant Forest. Snow pack is greater than it has been in many years and the Giant Forest is a picturesque winter wonderland. Bring the family to play in the snow!
We offer snow play items such as sleds, snowball makers, snow spinners, as well as mittens, boots and other winter attire.
Tire chains may be required through the end of the snow/rain season so we offer them for rent and for sale at Totem Market.

Road repairs have not been completed however the road is now safe for the general public to travel. At one short section the road is reduced to one lane with automatic lights and human flaggers guiding traffic, so expect short delays.
*Note that while the road remains passable the park may close for short periods due to driving hazards from severe weather.
